Full payment for your room  is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations

As a small business short notice cancellations can have a significant impact upon us. If you have to cancel your booking please let us know as quickly as possible, we will do all we can to help you. This will also allow us to take steps to re-let the room you have booked therefore minimising the impact upon our business.

 

Our Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made by you​:

• Cancellations earlier than 14 days to the booked arrival date will receive a full refund minus a £20 administration fee.

• Cancellations made on or within 14 days of the booked arrival date, the full booking amount for the date(s) will be retained by us.

• Non-arrival (also known as “no show”) the full amount paid will be retained by us.

Cancellations made by us:

• If for any reason we need to cancel your booking at any time prior to your arrival date, we will let you know as quickly as possible. In such circumstances we will provide you with a full refund of all money paid by you to us.

• We will only refund you the full amount of what you have paid for the date(s) that we have had to cancel. We will not compensate you for any extra costs that you incur as a result of us having to cancel. Our liability will not extend beyond paying you the full amount of what you have paid us, for the date(s) that you have booked and paid for.

 

We strongly recommend that all our guests take out adequate insurance out to cover any loss as a result of having to cancel your booking for any reason.

Arrival and Departure Times
Check-in on your day of arrival is between 3pm and 7pm. Notification of a possible time of arrival would be helpful, if you feel your arrival time will fall outside of the stated times please inform us so that we can make any necessary arrangements.

Check-out on your departure date is between 08:30am and 11:00am. Please let us know if for any reason these times are not suitable to you and we will do our best to assist you.

Smoking

Peel House Bed and Breakfast is a non-smoking and non-vaping facility and we do adhere strictly to our policy. We hold the right to terminate the stay of anyone found breaking this rule without refund; and an £80 deep cleaning charge will also be imposed.

Car Parking
Private off-road parking to all our guests at the rear of the property. Further public parking is available within a 5 minute walk.

We accept no responsibility or liability for any damage to vehicles or any loss during your stay. Vehicles are parked at the owners risk and owners are advised to ensure their vehicle is locked at all times; and all valuables and personal belongings are removed from their vehicles.

Pets
We are sorry but at this point in time pets are not allowed at Peel House. The only exception to this is for genuine assistance dogs.

Civil Liability
We accept no liability for any injury caused to you or any member of your party, or any loss or damage to your vehicle or to your possessions unless and until it is proven that this was as a direct result of any act or omission by us and where we are deemed to have been negligent as per UK or Scottish law, whichever is appropriate.

Termination Policy

We reserve the right to refuse entry and/or to terminate an individual’s or a party’s stay, without notice and without refund, if deemed necessary because of unacceptable behaviour (including offensive or threatening behaviour) or due to actions that are likely to endanger the owners, our property or any other person.

Breakages

Guests will be responsible for the repair or replacement of any breakages, losses or damage deemed to have been caused by negligence/misuse and shall leave the room in a clean, neat and tidy condition.
